Contract Specialist

Z-TECH is looking for a Contract Specialist to support the Federal Government on full lifecycle contract management and administration. We currently have an opening for a Contract Specialist with 3 years of experience in full lifecycle "cradle to grave" contract management to support a Federal Government Acquisition Office. 

  

DUTIES/EXPERIENCE AREAS:

  • Experience with the pre-award procurement process to include review of Procurement Request (PR) packages, development of solicitation and all activities associated with pre-award procurement activities
  • Assist with the preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages
  • Assist with the preparation of requirements for contract award and all aspects of the pre-solicitation procurement process
  • Assist with the administration of contracts, to include administration of contracts, quality assurance surveillance, checklist preparation, CPARS reporting facilitation, contract modification request preparation, option year renewal, and limitation-of-funds notice preparation
  • Assist with post-award preparation, which may include post-award tasks such as kick-off meetings, report preparation, and right-of-refusal documentation
  • Knowledge and experience of contract types to include Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Labor Hour (LH), Time and Materials (T&M), and Cost Reimbursable (Cost)
  • Apply knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other acquisition regulations to support full lifecycle procurement actions


Education:

Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or possess at least 24 hours of accredited college business credits in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management


JOB LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK (possible remote)

Logistics Analyst II

Z-TECH is looking for Logistics Analyst II to support the Federal Government by conducting logistics database administration and lifecycle management of supplies. We currently have an opening for a Logistics Analyst with at least 2 years of experience in Supply and Warehouse management to support a Federal Government in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control and Total Asset Visibility, including shipping and receiving, configuration management, distribution management, property accountability, and equipment disposition. 


DUTIES/EXPERIENCE AREAS: 

  • Provide logistician experience to:
    • Manage  supplies and conduct warehousing functions to support government and       military operations in an austere environment
    • Inventory, package, ship, retrograde, transport, and maintain accountability of government property to support military operations
    • Document the inventory, receipt, and shipment of equipment and systems
  • Provide expertise in:
    • Preparing assets for DLA-DA (DRMO) and turn-in to support phasing out unneeded equipment
    • Utilizing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and/or government logistics databases to       move systems and equipment within the Iraq theater
    • The use of computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) to communicate logistical transactions to contractor and government leadership
  • Forklift Experience, commercial or military
  • Experience supporting Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar (C-RAM) products and systems or Integrated Fires / Rapid Capabilities Office (IFRCO) products and systems
  • Experience using Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS) and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) highly desirable. 
  • Experience with IUID and/or RFID systems also highly desirable.
  • Experience in preparing assets for DLA-DS (DRMO) and Turn-In
  • Knowledge of COSIS and documentation of actions.
  • Familiarity with preparing large pallets/crates for shipment both CONUS and OCONUS
  • Knowledge of HAZMAT functions and requirements helpful


Education/Requirements:

  • An active DoD Secret clearance
  • US citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in Supply and Warehouse management within Government or Military operations, or High School Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience. 
  • Experience with retrograde, transportation, property accountability, and      environmental stewardship
  • Experience  in preparing assets for DLA-DS (DRMO) and Turn-In
  • Experience utilizing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and/or Government logistics databases.
  • Knowledge of various logistics forms (DD or DA) and their functions
  • Knowledge of selected computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to travel up to 25+% CONUS
  • Ability to lift 35lbs unassisted


JOB LOCATION: Huntsville, AL

Space Design Analyst

Z-TECH is looking for a Space Design Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) by providing expert space management, interior design, and Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE) program support. We currently have an opening for a Space Design Analyst with at least 2 years of specialized experience in space planning, office layout, and interior design to support the FAA’s space management, fit-out projects, and move operations.


DUTIES/EXPERIENCE AREAS: 

  • Provide space design and interior planning experience to:
  • Serve as a space management and interior design/FFE specialist supporting interior construction and fit-out projects
  • Assess client requirements and develop functional and aesthetic space designs while ensuring compliance with federal and agency standards
  • Provide oversight and direction to personnel engaged in space management and move program operations
  • Offer expert technical advice, guidance, and assistance on space utilization, interior finishes, and furnishings
  • Collaborate with real estate and subject matter experts to develop and recommend design and FFE alternatives
  • Apply knowledge of building construction and mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, life safety, security) in planning space solutions
  • Use computer-aided design tools (AutoCAD, Archibus, ProjectWise) to develop 2D/3D renderings, architectural drawings, and technical layouts
  • Conduct site inspections and provide preliminary and final site inspection reports/punch lists to support issue resolution and final occupancy
  • Assist with systems furniture design, component selection, installation, and inspection across various manufacturers
  • Support development and maintenance of engineering baselines, redlines, and as-built drawing packages
  • Participate in negotiations with top-level officials regarding space management policies and challenges


Education/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • US citizenship (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of specialized experience in space management, office planning, and interior design (FFE) within an organization or federal agency
  • Experience reviewing and reconciling space management program policies, standards, and expenses
  • Familiarity with space requirements, workstation needs, furniture selection, and construction (functional: acoustics, power, lighting, communications; aesthetic: color, materials)
  • Ability to conduct survey activities to support critical infrastructure and Capital Investment Plan (CIP) projects
  • Experience responding to inquiries from internal and external customers on space program management matters
  • Strong proficiency in selected computer applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to travel as needed
